In April, the brownfield site of the former distillery will begin to transform into a brand new heart of Pardubice’s business and social life. The Pernerka Gallery, which will grow here for about three years, has already chosen a general contractor.

The choice of the contractor was not easy, given the scope of the work, its complexity and the demands on the quality of workmanship. Negotiations between the REDSTONE development group and SYNER, a civil engineering company, were completed during the month of March. By signing the contracts, SYNER became the general contractor.

The company will now take over the cleaned brownfield and start its own work. First, the site preparation and the necessary utility relocations must take place, while, for example, the relocation of ČEZ has already taken place. The company must ensure the drainage of the construction pit, create new stable fencing and build site facilities.

Three years of work will follow, and the developer plans to open the first phase of Galerie Pernerka, i.e. without the residential part, to the public in autumn 2028.
