Work on Pernerka continues according to schedule

Work on the Pernerka Gallery project is continuing at a rapid pace and construction is progressing smoothly into the next stages.

Excavation work is currently underway near Palackého třída, followed by another section of the construction site on the north side. The work is also accompanied by intensive removal of soil and sand.

At the same time, builders are reinforcing the subgrade in the second section of the construction, where approximately half of the area has been completed. In the first section, 28 piles have already been drilled and completed, which will form the foundation of the structure in the future.

In mid-November, another section of the construction site road with an area of over 600 m² was concreted. The new section connects to the road leading from the winter stadium towards the exit from the construction site. On the eastern side, new base layers for the entrance to the construction pit have been created.

The securing of the construction pit with sheet piling has been completed to the maximum extent possible. Completion of the remaining part of the exit ramp, covering an area of approximately 1,250 m², is planned for the end of February/beginning of March 2026.

Groundwater is also being continuously pumped out of the construction site. Nineteen of the twenty wells in the main pit are now in operation, with the remaining two to be started up after completion of the ramp work. This makes it possible to keep the water level below the foundation joint and continue with further excavations.

Work on the utility networks has also progressed – a pit has been excavated and the bottom of a new sewer shaft has been installed, which is now completely assembled.

The pace of construction remains high and all work is proceeding according to schedule.
